In recent years, we have wasted far too much time arguing about the existence of climate change rather than looking for solutions to mitigate its progression. We need to be proactive.

The intersection of climate change and infectious diseases represents a profound and growing threat to public health. By understanding and addressing the environmental determinants of health and furthermore accepting that the health of our planet and its inhabitants are inextricably linked, we will be able to write a new chapter that enacts rapid changes, which can collectively lead to substantial shifts, fostering a sense of optimism about our ability to create a sustainable and resilient future.
